So, I'm not sure about anyone else, but now the Olympics is on I'm finding myself interested in sports I have never watched before. It's really hard not to get caught up in the excitement of the games. Especially after such an amazing opening ceremony!
I thought it was brilliant. It showed some of the best parts of Britain without being too serious. In particular I enjoyed the sketch with James Bond and the queen, Mary Poppins appearing out of the sky and of course, the lighting of the Olympic Cauldron.
Well done Danny Boyle, you've done your country proud!
I recently bought my first Essie nail varnish and it is beautiful. I love the coral colour and it has lasted so well. Especially considering I work part time at a children's farm and finding a nail varnish that will last longer than one day can be tricky.

I'm off to Latitude festival tomorrow!! Although I am so excited, I can't pretend not to be worried about the floods (literally) of rain that have fallen over the last couple of days. As we are camping it is safe to say that waterproofs have been packed, along with lots of spare clothes.
However, I refuse to let rain ruin my exciting weekend, so am trying to keep positive. I just hope we can actually make it up to Suffolk!
I have lots of blogs planned over the next month or so, and probably some pictures of the festival. I've been a bit relaxed with my blog recently, but nothing particularly exciting has happened in my life as I spend most of my time working (and no one really wants to hear about piglets and ducklings).
